Har ki doon trek or Har ki dun (Har means God & Doon means Valley), also called as the Valley of Gods. This trek is known for its breathtaking landscapes and cultural significance, a great trek to explore in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand at the altitude of 12,000 ft. In this trek we get to see different types of flowers, spectacular views of the Himalayan Mountains and some small and big waterfalls, This trek is full of all kinds of natural beauties. According to mythology, It is said that Pandavas went to heaven via Swargarohini peak, which is one of the main attractions of the trek.

Trekking Itinearary
1st Day – Drive Dehradun to Sankri : Our adventure begins from Dehradun city, where we leave from the Dehradun Railway station to reach Sankri village via Mussoorie, Purola & Mori. After reaching Sankri, enjoy tea with some snacks, then take some rest, later enjoy with music and then have dinner, after that a little discussion for our upcoming days of trek, pack the bags and ready to sleep.
2nd Day – Drive Sankri to Datmer via Taluka, Then our Trek start to Pauni Garrat : Wake up early in the morning, get fresh and after breakfast, left for Har Ki Doon trek, first we have to reach Datmer via Taluka by local cab, and this road still being built, so we also experience the fun of off-roading. As we cross Datmer village, vibe of the trek is totally changed and after doing almost 10 km of trekking, we reach our first camp site, enjoy the magnificent river view, have snacks and later dinner, overnight stay at camp.
2nd Day – Drive Sankri to Datmer via Taluka, Then our Trek start to Pauni Garrat : Wake up early in the morning, get fresh and after breakfast, left for Har Ki Doon trek, first we have to reach Datmer via Taluka by local cab, and this road still being built, so we also experience the fun of off-roading. As we cross Datmer village, vibe of the trek is totally changed and after doing almost 10 km of trekking, we reach our first camp site, enjoy the magnificent river view, have snacks and later dinner, overnight stay at camp.
3rd Day – Pauni Garaat to Kalkatiyadhaar : On this day wake up as usual, have breakfast with fresh air and pack the bags. we move ahead to our second camp site. On the way, we saw various beautiful flowers, and the views getting better and better. After almost 8 km of trekking, we reached our campsite where the game of clouds is mesmerizing.\
4th Day – KalkatiyaDhaar to Summit then back to Kalkatiyadhaar : This day we leave for the summit, so keep only the necessary things with you. After breakfast, we will move ahead towards summit. we get to see magnificent waterfalls. After 5 km of trekking, we will reach Har Ki Doon summit. Here, first we obeisance to the divine Shivalinga, lit incense sticks and pray. Then take some pictures and keep the moments memorable and descend back around 5 km to our campsite. There will be plenty of time so we enjoy the view here, having tea and snacks in the evening and slept after having dinner at night.
5th Day – KalkatiyaDhaar to Ghanghaad via Osla Village : This day we have to descend back, so we wake up in the morning, have breakfast and start backpacking and Start the trek to Ghanghaad village. On the way, we will take a break for some time at Osla village which is the last village of Har Ki Doon Valley. After staying for some time in the village, we descend back to our campsite. After reaching the camp site, have tea and snacks and later dinner and then sleep.
6th Day – Ghanghaad to Sankri via Datmer & Taluka : This is our last day of this trek, so we wake up in the morning, had breakfast, pack the bags, and descend back to Datmer Village. Where the cab will waiting for us, get in to it and drive back to Sankri village. A brief discussion with all-over trek experience with all the staff members.
7th Day – Sankri to Dehradun via Mussoorie : On this day, wake up and have breakfast, pack your bags and now it’s time to get your certificates. we will take some pictures together and see off you to your journey to Dehradun.
