Ranthan-Kharak-Summit

If you’re searching for a Himalayan trek in Uttarakhand, your screen is probably flooded with the same few names: Kedarkantha, Har ki Dun or Chopta. While beautiful, these trails have become crowded commercial highways.

But what if you want to experience the Himalayas the way they used to be? Raw, silent and entirely yours?

Enter the Ranthan Kharak Trek.

Tucked deep inside the Kumaon region, this 7-day moderate journey is the ultimate antidote to over-commercialized trekking. At Hike in India, we believe that Every Journey a Story and this offbeat trail through ancient stone-roofed villages, thick oak forests and sprawling alpine Bugyals is a story waiting to be told. Reaching the summit at 3,900 meters unlocks a staggering 360-degree panorama of mountain giants, including Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot and the majestic Panchachuli peaks.
